Bio

Lovechild of a wayward New York boy and the city of Nashville, Sundaes survives on McFlurrys, Steel Magnolia's and the complete works of Patsy Cline. The project draws influence from a combination of 90s/early oughts’ indie rock, dream pop, and genre assorted hits of all eras. Dancing among the kings of country, a queen does her best.

Sundaes made its performance debut in the spring of 2015 with a set of two sold out shows at the Chelsea Hotel Storefront Gallery in New York. Fall 2015 the song “Walk My Street” appeared in the soundtrack of Best Picture Winner “Spotlight”. Sundaes’ self-titled debut EP was released July 2017.

After taking a few years off to produce other bands between the 2017 release and 2021, Sundaes’ Singer/Songwriter/Producer Max Nunes has shifted his main focus back to the project.

The band released a live film ‘Country Sundaes’ covering songs by iconic starlets of the honky tonk era in the fall of 2021. The 'boys who made me cry' EP followed in January 2022. Lighting 100 featured the single ‘I Wonder’ as DJ Pick of the week. The Nashville Scene featured the EP in its recommended releases in February. Sundaes opened for Ezra Furman in a sold out Third Man Records show on March 10th. Single 'wander through' released Oct. 2022 was Lightning100 DJ Pick of the week. Debut Full length "Call Me When You Get There" coming 2024 :)
